South African Afro-tech producer Shimza is just about to release his new two-track EP, Kings & Queens, but before that he’s unveiling the audio for the title track. Clocking in just short of eight minutes, “Kings & Queens” is a bonafide epic with rumbling bass lines, driving techy synths and dramatic washes of texture all building to a climactic conclusion.
Shimza is a massive star in his home country, regularly drawing tens of thousands of revellers to his infamous One Man Show parties, and with this devastating new weapon now in his arsenal, it’s only a matter of time before he takes it global.
